Rhythmic Activities:
The purpose of this unit is for students to learn and practice intermediate jump rope skills. They will be creating routine, using these skills, and perform it in class. Students will also increase their cardiovascular fitness through jump roping.
Objectives:

Demonstrate the ability to jump a variety of intermediate jump rope skills with a short rope.

Create a personal jump rope routine.

Demonstrate the ability to jump a variety of intermediate jump ropes skills in a long rope.

Demonstrate improved cardiovascular fitness.
Pacing Guide:
It is recommended that the Rhythmic Activities unit be taught in a minimum of five class sessions.
