Middle School Physical Education – 6th Grade


Rhythmic Activities:

The purpose of this unit is to provide students with the opportunity to increase their balance and eye-hand coordination skills.  A variety of equipment, including pogo sticks, stilts, balance boards and Sport Stacking cups is included.

 

 


Objectives:

1.       Balance, with control, on a variety of equipment.

2.       Balance, with control, while moving on equipment.

3.       Demonstrate the ability to do correctly Sport Stack.

 

 


Pacing Guide:

It is recommended that the Rhythmic Activities unit be taught in a minimum of five class sessions.
