The focus in seventh grade science is Earth and physical science.  Three units make up the course; Earth in Space, Properties of Matter, and Catastrophic Events.  Hands-on activities in the laboratory, class discussion, individual and group projects and activities, provide students opportunities to investigate science topics of relevance to their own lives and build understanding of essential learning in science.
