This laboratory course focuses on concepts and principles that explain many naturally occurring events in the world. Students also develop strong problem-solving skills as they build an understanding of straight line and rotational motion, gravitation, momentum and energy, electricity, and magnetism.
Students integrate information literacy skills for a variety of purposes to inform this content area. Lessons are developed in collaboration with Library Media Specialists, curriculum developers and classroom teachers. They are of two types - those taught by Library Media Specialists and those taught in collaboration with the classroom teacher.
