Prerequisite	Completion of Japanese 3 or equivalent
Other Info	In designated Japanese 4 classes, students may choose to pay a fee to co-enroll in a Bellevue Community College Japanese 103 class. Those earning a "B" grade or better in the course can receive 103 credit for taking Japanese 4 in the high school. Course 103 satisfies the World Language requirement for graduation from Washington four-year universities in most departments.
Location	Bellevue

Students will continue to refine language skills by speaking only Japanese in class. Class will be conducted 100% of the time in Japanese. Video programs from Japan will be featured to develop understanding of the spoken language and the culture. Students will continue to advance their Japanese comprehension by reading a variety of materials. Creative writing skills will be emphasized at this level. Opportunities for cultural exchange and for study abroad in Japan will continue to be available.
