Culinary Arts is an in-depth course for students wishing to explore careers in a variety of food service industry fields. Students will learn professional basic French technique, aesthetics of food presentation, gain familiarity with a wide variety of cuisines, practice safety and sanitation procedures, as well as restaurant management, customer relations, catering and table service. There will be industry visitations to observe professionals and explore career possibilities. A 20 hour externship is required.
