AP World History will cover global world history from approximately 600 C.E. to the present with careful review of previous developmentsof the Foundations Unit. Students will learn about the impact of interaction among societies (trade, systems of international exchange, war, and diplomacy); the impact of technology and demography on people and the environment; systems of social and gender structure; cultural and intellectual developments; and changes in functions and structures of states and in attitudes toward states and political identities, including the emergence of the nation-state.
