Length/Credit 1 year - 1.0 Elective credit; (SHS only: 1 semester 1.0 credit)
Prerequisite Completion of French 2 or equivalent
Other Info In designated French3 classes, students may choose to pay a fee to co-enroll in a Bellevue Community College French 122 class. Those earning a "B" grade or better in the course can receive 122 credit for taking French 3 in the high school. Course 122 satisfies the World Language requirement for entry into Washington four-year universities.

In this class, students will build upon the skills learned in French 2.  The curriculum will emphasize more challenging use of the language and will be conducted entirely in French.  In addition to use of the text, students will give presentations, read short stories, watch films and write often in an effort to increase fluency in French.  Cultural topics focus on the customs and traditions of the Francophone world.  This class is conducted entirely in French.
