Other Info: Students do not need previous knowledge of music or use of MIDI (Music Instrument Digital Interface)software in order to have success in this course. Software Programs include; Band-in-a-box, Sibelius 4, and Fruity Loops.
Location: Bellevue, Interlake, Newport, Sammamish
This course is designed for students to have the opportunity to learn about, and use music software that enables them to create music or create arrangements of music.

Students do not need previous knowledge of music or using MIDI software in order to have success in this course.

Software used will be Sibelius4 and Fruity Loops

Students will create 4-5 projects a quarter and are required to do projects in each of the software programs.

Grades are based on participation, active learning, and acquired skills with the music software.

The teacher will be observing growth as a composer/creator and productivity during class time

Completion of this course will prepare students for Composing Music with Technology 2.
