High School students are trained in information skills through specific lessons designed to support district curriculums. Lessons are developed in collaboration with Library Media Specialists, curriculum developers and classroom teachers. They are of two types - those taught by Library Media Specialists and those taught in collaboration with the classroom teacher .

Local and National Literary Awards and lists featured at each grade level so that by the time a student graduates, they are exposed to quality sources, not only for college prep, but also for leisure reading.
